Ames High School Boys Swimming

The Ames High Boys’ Swimming team earned an 8th Place finish at the 2020 State Championship. The boys swimming team had another great year in the pool.

Coach Flannery is a graduate of Iowa State University with a BA in Spanish
and will receive his Masters degree in Coaching in Physical Education from Ball State University in May of 2008. He was a member of the ISU Men’s Swim team and captain for the 1998 season. He was a member of the Big 8 Championship team in 1995 and the undefeated team in 1998. Coach Flannery was a high school All-American in the 200 Freestyle and swam for Johnston High School in Des Moines.
