I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 1987 and my M.Ed. from ISU in 2000. I began my career in education as an elementary school classroom teacher in Los Angeles, Calif. I transitioned to school counseling in 2001, and have enjoyed that position in the elementary school setting ever since.
Besides working with Edwards students and their families since 2011, I enjoy bicycling, playing tennis and swimming with my daughters, as well as baking, reading fiction on my porch, and spending the summer months outdoors growing a large variety of flowers in my garden.
