No Outside Food Deliveries For Students
There is NO Outside Food Delivery for Students per Page 30 of the Parent/Student Handbook for 2021-2022:
- Students are expected to get and consume their lunch in the lunchroom.
- Teachers or other staff who allow students to eat lunch, supervised, in spaces other than the lunchroom need to write that student a pass (including teacher name, date, and time) in order for students to leave the lunch area and pass to the intended location.
- Parents wanting to provide an off-campus food (i.e. Chick-fil-a, BBops, etc.) may want to provide a written note or other verification that the student hasn’t obtained food in violation of the closed-campus for underclassmen.
- Students are not permitted to have food delivered to the school.
Monday, November 22nd will be an even block day for AHS students, and Tuesday, November 23rd will be an odd block day.
IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR AHS GRADUATING SENIORS
Please take care of this today. There are many seniors that have not ordered the required Senior Dues/Cap & Gown for graduation.
** All seniors participating in the graduation ceremony on May 29, 2022 must order at a minimum, the Basic cap & gown package/Senior dues. This $60 fee plus tax not only pays for the graduation cap, gown, stole and tassel but also diploma & diploma cover, name cards, flowers etc. Everything that pertains to graduation. It is a package deal. Some families in the past would like to reuse a sibling’s gown and cap, as much as we understand that, the Basic senior dues is required for participation in the graduation ceremony.
Do not miss the deadline to order your CUSTOM AMES graduation announcement AND avoid late fees on your cap and gown.
Your cap and gown fee increases after December 1st. Order today to avoid additional late fees.
If you already ordered these items, Thank You. If not, take advantage of this time to add to your order any items you might have missed or overlooked. Order your cap and gown through Jostens before the December 1st deadline.
Please contact Kathy Packer with questions or concerns by email or phone 515-817-0602.
