URGENT 2019/2020 COURSE REGISTRATION UPDATE
In order to ensure that your student has enough credits, and the courses of their choice, we need all registrations completed by 12 noon on Monday, May 27th. Students were emailed on May, 14th a template of which courses are required at each grade level, to help them sign up for the appropriate courses, as well as how many courses they will need next year to be a full-time student.
If your student does not register for his/her desired courses, their counselor will be selecting courses for them and there will not be an opportunity to change them.
If you need further information regarding course registration, there are detailed instructions on the AHS website. Click on AHS Registration Book and you will find several links for your reference.
Thank you for your attention to your student’s course registration for the 19-20 school year. If your student will not be attending AHS in the fall, please notify his/her counselor.
During Finals on May 29-31, students only need to be in attendance when they have a scheduled exam. If they don’t have a final, they may leave the building. If students stay on campus, they must be in a quiet study area in the Media Center or cafeteria, but not in the hallways. Buses will run their normal times in the morning and pick students up to return home at 1:45 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, and at 11:30 AM on Friday giving students time to pick up a quick lunch.
