Seniors: Nomination forms for baccalaureate speakers are in the principal’s office. Please pick one up today and fill it out asap. Forms are due back this Friday by 3 PM. Also, applications for student performers are available and due by May 1st

Documentary night is tomorrow at 7pm we will be showing “The Abolitionist”

 If you are interested in running for student council co-presidents for the 2019-2020 school year, please pick up an application from Mrs. Packer in the principal’s office. Two years combined experience is required. See Ms. DiBlasi or Mr. Burke for questions. Applications are due Friday.

Scratch Pad is Ames High School’s student-published art and writing magazine. If you have any art, writing, or photography works you would like to share, this is your chance to see your works published in print in the 2019 edition! Email your submissions to AHS Scratchpad at Ames dot k12 dot IA dot US. Our final deadline is Tuesday, April 30, 2019. We look forward to seeing your work!

Looking for a summer job?  Are you at least 18?  Do you like working with kids?  Ames Community Preschool is now hiring for summer positions.  Check the job postings board outside student services for more information.

The last Coffeehouse of the year will be Friday, April 26. If you are interested in performing, please sign up on Ms. DiBlasi’s door in Student Services.  

Ames High Lacrosse team plays Sarpy County at 3:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, at the Ames Middle School football complex.
