All students taking AP tests this spring will need to attend a mandatory pre-administration meeting at 8:00 am on Wednesday, April 17 in the AHS cafeteria. The meeting will hopefully be over by 8:45. Anyone who cannot attend needs to contact Mr. Burke in Student Services before April 24.

Come to the main lobby before and after school this week to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a 2018-2019 yearbook. Tickets are $3 each and all funds will be going towards buying a new camera lens.
The last Coffeehouse of the year will be Friday, April 26. If you are interested in performing, please sign up on Ms. DiBlasi’s door in Student Services.
Acceleration request forms for the 2019-2020 school year are available. Any AHS student may pick up a form in the ELP alcove. All applications can be returned to the main office or MC-3 at AHS by April 12.
If you wish to be a part of next years National ART Honor Society chapter, see Mrs Wede in room Art E to pick up an application. If you are currently a part of the art club group, please find the digital application on the Art Club Classroom page, print it, and fill it out. Anybody in grades 9-12 who is interested in art and service is encouraged to apply. All applications are due by April 30th 2019 to Mrs. Wede.
Art club is starting figure drawing sessions for anyone who would like to participate! To practice drawing from life, join us on Mondays beginning April 15th. Just sign up under Mrs. Wede’s plus period to draw or model for the group.
ATTENTION: All girls who plan to participate in the 2019 Ames High Softball program, there will be a player/parent informational meeting on Monday, April 15th at 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. All information pertaining to the upcoming season will be provided at the meeting, please make sure a representative from your family is in attendance.
