AP TEST PRE-MEETING

All students taking AP tests this spring will need to attend a mandatory pre-administration meeting at 8:00 am on Wednesday, April 17 in the AHS cafeteria.  The meeting will hopefully be over by 8:45.  Anyone who cannot attend needs to contact Mr. Burke in Student Services before April 24. 

AHS SOFTBALL

ATTENTION:  All girls who plan to participate in the 2019 Ames High Softball program, there will be a player/parent informational meeting on Monday, April 15th at 6:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria.  All information pertaining to the upcoming season will be provided at the meeting, please make sure a representative from your family is in attendance.  Prior to the meeting, if you would take the time to go to the following website and complete the forms it would be much appreciated.

PROM 2019

Prom 2019 will be held at CPMI event center 2321 North Loop Drive on Saturday, April 13 from 9-11:30 PM, with doors to close at 10 PM. There will be no admittance to the dance after 10:00 PM, once a student leaves the dance, they will not be allowed to re-enter. All students and guests must have their ID to get into the dance.

 

POST PROM

Juniors and seniors are invited to attend the 2019 Post Prom Party whether attending prom or not, on Sunday, April 14 from midnight-4:30 AM in the AHS gym. NO cost to attend, NO tickets needed. Prom dates are also invited. Student ID’s required, NO ADMISSION after 1:00 AM, NO outside food or beverages, NO bags, backpacks or purses allowed.

 

GRADUATION ANNOUNCEMENTS

Announcement orders were delivered yesterday (Thursday). If your senior student did not bring home an order and you know you placed an order, have them stop in the principals office to pick up their announcement order.
