COVID-19 Guidance Indicators and Recommended Educational Model
The development of these guidance indicators was done in collaboration with Mary Greeley Medical Center, Story County Public Health, and Story County Emergency Management. The following and associated recommendations do not apply to students/families that have requested online learning as their primary model of instruction.

Food Service Information
The Ames CSD will continue to offer free breakfast and lunch through winter break. Any child aged 1-18 is eligible to receive free school meals. Translations available on the website.

Face Covering Guidelines
At this time during the COVID-19 Pandemic, it is required that cloth face coverings be worn during the school day by staff and students for those who are able. There is increasing evidence that cloth face coverings help prevent people who have COVID-19 from spreading the virus to others. The guidelines model the CDC Recommendations, but have been modified to fit the needs specifically for our school setting.
