We believe everyone in our community has a stake in helping our students launch a lifetime of successful learning. We aim to build relationships that deepen understanding of our mission, inspire commitment and create opportunities for collaboration and action.

We put students first by providing leadership, systems and resources to empower communication that advances our goals for learning and teaching and promotes the value of the education we provide.

Sharing the good work of students and staff is a top priority for us. Our media policies put students first, making sure media coverage involving students enhances the education process and does not disrupt it and that all stories and images about our district express information that is accurate, complete, and reflects our official position.

All students must have written permission from a parent or guardian to be identified in media.

Contact the Director of School, Community and Media Relations, Eric Smidt, to make arrangements for media coverage that involves our students, staff or facilities.

For the safety and security of our students during a time of crisis, the Superintendent and the Director of School, Community and Media Relations will represent the District to both internal and external audiences. We request that media use discretion in crisis coverage that involves our students.
