Elementary Extended Learning Program
We put students first by providing curriculum for talented and gifted students as an integral part of the K-12 experience that is differentiated in process, pace, depth, organization and expected outcomes.
ELP and classroom teachers work collaboratively to:
- Identify individual student needs
- Differentiate curriculum
- Provide challenging experiences in the classroom
- Provide assistance to teachers and students
- Offer whole class Stretch Think activities to uncover creativity and demonstrate unique skills
Program Highlights
National Geographic Bee
- Open to all 4th and 5th Grade Students
- Qualifying exam administered in November
- School Bee held in January

Math Olympiads
- For Math Olympiads identified students in 4th and 5th Grade Only
- One contest each month takes place during the school day in ELP November-March
- Exams held periodically

Invention Convention
- Open to all 5th Grade Students
- Registrations are due in December
- Invention Convention held at Fellows Elementary School open to all 5th graders

Elementary Quiz Bowl
- Open to all 4th and 5th Grade Students
- Registrations are due October 5
- Monthly meetings
- District Wide Championship for qualifying teams
