Public Record Requests
All District records, except those which are confidential by law, are public records. Board Policy 901 governs guidelines and procedures for disseminating and providing access to the District’s public records. Persons wanting copies may be assessed a fee for the copy.
To Request a Public Record
Send an email to publicrecords@ames.k12.ia.us with the following information:
- Your full name
- Mailing address
- Daytime phone
- Listing and description of each record being requested
