Information About Section Placements:

Northwood does not accept requests to place students with specific teachers. Instead we invite you to provide a letter describing your child’s learning needs and characteristics.  We will use information in the to match the student’s needs to an appropriate classroom setting.

Northwood uses the following factors to determine morning or afternoon placement:

  • Date of completion of Step 2 in the Registration Process
  • Ages and Stages Questionnaire results
  • Birthdate
  • Number of morning or afternoon spots available

Please Note: If you requested a morning spot and meet the criteria listed above but received an afternoon spot, we may contact you in early August if a morning spot becomes available.
