Iowa All-State Music Festival

The annual Iowa All-State Music Festival provides an opportunity for outstanding high school
musicians from across the state to come together and work with festival directors to present
a concert at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. Students qualify to participate in the Festival by

The audition center for Ames High School students is at Indianola High School. Auditions for
the 2018 Festival are Saturday, October 20, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Seating auditions for
those accepted will be Thursday afternoon, November 15. Rehearsals for the 2018 concert
