    Northwood Preschool Registration

    Preschool registration forms for 4-year-olds are available at Northwood Preschool Center, 3012 Duff Ave. in Ames.

    Children who will be 4 years old by Sept. 15 may attend the program. The District will treat all registrations received on these two dates on an equal basis for placement in the program and take registrations after these date on a first come, first served basis. Bring the child’s original official birth certificate and proof of residency, such as a copy of a current bill.

      Early June:    Receive acceptance postcard sent assigning AM or PM

      August 17th:  Class lists with assigned teachers posted at Northwood

      August 23rd: Parent Orientation at Northwood (parents only please)
                            AM Classes 5:30-6:15 PM      PM Classes 6:30-7:15 PM

      August 27-31:  Home Visits (sign up at Parent Orientation)

      Sept. 4th:     Glimpses
                              AM last name A-M                  8:45-9:45 AM
                              AM last name N-Z                 10-11 AM
                              PM last name A-M                 12:45-1:45 PM
                              PM last name N-Z                 2-3 PM

      Sept. 6th:   First day of Preschool Classes
                           AM classes 8:35-11:30         PM classes 12:25-3:20
