DAILY NOTES

As you already know this week is the annual Dance Marathon coin drive! Seibert has the lead, followed by Webb, and Ripley and DJ are neck and neck for third place!!!! We only have two more days to donate so make sure you give any spare change you have to your English classes.

A representative from the YSS Mentoring Program will give a presentation about being a mentor to elementary students during Plus Period on Monday and Tuesday next week in Student Services. This is a great way to help other students in our district and to gain valuable volunteer experience. Sign up for Plus under Mrs. DiBlasi’s name.

Attention movie makers: this is your first notice for the revived Thespian Film Festival 2019.  The festival will be held Friday, March 29. Movies must be submitted on or before Monday March 25. Start planning now because it is expected that all technical problems will be resolved before submission otherwise the movie will not be considered.  See Mr. Woolery for more information and guidelines.

As the holiday season and the end of the 1st semester get closer, students can often feel the extra stress.  It is always a good idea to speak with your counselor, but we also have teachers who have been trained to listen and to help.  If you see a green Stigma Free Zone on the door of a teacher you know that they are trained and willing to listen and to help.
