HOMECOMING DANCE REMINDERS

There will be no admittance after 10:00 P.M.   The doors open at 9:00 PM and the dance ends at 11:00 PM.

No tickets will be sold at the door.

Students, please remember to bring your school ID to the dance.

There will be no re-admittance to the dance once you leave.

FALL CHEER CLINIC

Ames High Fall Cheer will host its annual Fall Cheer Clinic for all boys and girls ages four through 8th grade on Thursday, September 27 from 4:45 to 7 pm. The young student-athletes will learn cheers, jumps and the AHS Fight Song. The clinic culminates with the kids joining the AHS Cheerleaders during the halftime of the Sophomore Football on the 27th and forming a tunnel for the players during the Hall of Fame Varsity Football game on October 4. Cost is $25 and includes a shirt, game admission, pizza, etc. Please RVSP by Friday, September 21 to Coach Buss at sarah.buss@ames.k12.ia.us. TASTE FOR EDUCATION

The Ames Education Foundation hosts TASTE for Education – Sunday, September 30, at 5:00 pm.  This adult only event is held at the Gateway Hotel.  Proceeds help with classroom grants, educational needs, and our World Languages at AHS.  Tickets are $50.  This event includes entertainment, cuisine tasting, and silent auction.
