DAILY NOTES

The winner to the Winter Madness Coin Drive is Mr. Schmidt’s second-period class. They raised a total of $199 and will receive candy and a visit from Mrs. DiBlasi’s dogs, two golden retrievers! In total we raised $770 for families in need these holidays. Thank you everyone for the great week, have a wonderful holiday!

Today, Achol Lual (pronounced ‘a – ch- ol lu-wall), and Rachel Bennett are holding a plus period on how to communicate with some of our peers here with special needs at Ames High!  You can sign up under Mr. Crall and it would be really awesome if you could come! There will be pizza and donuts!

SHEPH’s rice and bean lunch is today during both lunches in the multipurpose room. A bowl of rice and beans is $3, chai is $1, and a cookie is $1. All proceeds go to SHEPH’s annual year-end project.

It’s the last day of Winter Madness, we have Fantastical Friday and Coffeehouse! It’s been a great week. We hope you enjoyed! Don’t forget to donate to the coin drive!

Today for Winter Madness we have Ugly Sweater Day, Lunch Buy-Out and Study night from 6-8pm in the multipurpose room. Tomorrow we’ll have Fantastical Day, dress up to the theme of Winter Madness, Enchanted Winter Wonderland, we’ll also have Coffeehouse during both lunches, free for everyone! Don’t forget to sign up for coffeehouse located on Mrs. Diblasi’s door, and don’t forget to donate to the coin drive!
