Students interested in playing softball or baseball please stop in the Athletic office to register. Baseball tryouts are May 1st and softball tryouts are May 8th.

There is a softball informational meeting for players and parents tomorrow night at 6:30 in the AHS cafeteria. There are several items to be discussed so it is important that somebody from your family attend if you are interested in playing softball this summer.

The first day of high school baseball practice is Monday, May 1. 10-12 graders will practice on Monday from 5:00-6:45 and 9th graders will practice from 5:30-6:45. Coach Fuller will be emailing out a practice schedule this week.

Come to the spring play this Friday and Saturday and watch as Ames High Theatre explores the many cycles of love and relationships in Love/Sick. The evening of theatre begins at 7:00 with the pre-show enact play The Fifteen Minute Hamlet.

Last Gasp AP Psych review is this Saturday, 10:00-noon in Mrs. Stevens’ room (103). Donuts are welcome.

Students taking AP tests are prohibited from having cell phones while testing. According to AP policy, AP exam grades will be cancelled for any student who uses a cell phone during an exam or on break. Students should check test locations posted outside of Student Services. Students also need to bring pencils and a black or blue pen.

Attention any students interested in working with apartment maintenance, grounds keeping, and cleaning of apartments over the summer. Work will be $10 per hour, 40 hours per week. Stop by the Friedrich Properties office at 619 E. Lincoln Way to fill out an application Monday through Friday, 8-5.
