Drill Team
News
The Ames High Drill Team had a successful year. They competed at the State Competition held at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines and at Regionals held at Southeast Polk High School where they took home several awards and honors. Coach Sarah Buss was named the Character Counts Coach of the Year at the State competition.
The team is made up of four teams.
-The Gold Squad that competes in Pom, Hip-Hop and Hoopla.
-The Silver Squad competes in Jazz, Lyrical and Kick
 .
-The Co-Ed squad
-The All-Male squad
