EARLY DISMISSALS NOVEMBER 24

AMES—The Ames Community Schools will be dismissing students early Wednesday, November 24, the day before the start of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

The dismissal schedule is:
Ames Middle School (AMS) dismisses at 1:00 p.m.
Ames High School (AHS) at 1:15 p.m.
All ACSD elementary schools dismiss at 1:30 p.m. 
Northwood Preschool Center – No afternoon classes.

Due to the early dismissal times, Ames Middle School and Ames High School will not have late starts that day.  Students are asked to follow the regular school day arrival schedule, and not the Wednesday delayed start times.  That means classes at AHS will begin at 7:50 a.m. and at AMS at 8:05 a.m.

Also, there will be no afternoon classes at Northwood Preschool Center November 24. 

Classes resume Monday, November 29.
