The Ames Community School District has received a state grant to provide 10 hours of FREE preschool for four-year-old children.

The Ames Community Schools are partnering with Formative Years, ISU Lab School and University Community Childcare to offer FREE preschool on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Children 4-years-old on or before September 15, 2009, are eligible. The preschool is open to children residing inside and outside the Ames district.  Option for preschool on Wednesdays is available at Northwood Preschool Center for $50 monthly.
