AMES— The Ames Community School District (ACSD) is announcing a brief delay in the distribution of early kindergarten and kindergarten registration packets for the 2011-2012 school year. The packets, which contain materials and information for registering for next school year, are expected to be mailed to families later this month.

Registration packets for ACSD elementary students who will be attending grades 1 through 5 during the 2011-2012 school year will be sent home with students Friday, May 6.
