AMES—The Ames High School (AHS) Drama Department is gearing up for the 2011 Senior One-Act Plays. According to department director Steven Woolery, AHS seniors will direct each of the three plays, which will be performed Thursday and Friday, April 7 and 8. The shows begin at 7:00 p.m. and admission is $3.00. Tickets will be available at the door.

The three shows are "Leader of The Laundromat," directed by Alex Canfield;
"Help for The Holidays," directed by Sean Hanlin; and "Cut, " directed by Zack Hackbarth and Scott MacDonald.

The plays will be presented in the AHS auditorium. Ames High School is located at 1921 Ames High Drive.
