Ames Community School District Boundaries
Some school boundaries are changing in August 2014
when the new Edwards school building opens.
Families in the school district
have already been notified.

Center, 3012 Duff Ave. Register by May 1 to
be guaranteed placement

for children  who will be 5 years old by Sept. 15, 2014.

Ames Middle School program connects students to their college dreams

AMES—Ames–For some students in Ames like Fela Santana, going to college seems like an unattainable dream, even with a university at the center of the community.

Santana moved to Ames from Chicago earlier this year. Besides being new in eighth grade at Ames Middle School, she said she lacked self-confidence.
