Each calendar has a specific set of dates/events. The District-wide calendar contains dates that would affect the entire district, such as holidays, spring break, etc. Because of the high demand for sports information, we have created a separate calendar for Ames High sports. Other than AHS sports, all activities such as concerts, PTO meetings, and conferences, are contained within each building's calendar. Each monthly calendar can be printed out. Other ways to display the information (such as daily or weekly) are available, but these formats may not print out as well as the monthly option. For more information about using these calendars, see below.

In August, the district will mail to each school household a hard copy of the calendar, which also contains important district information. However, events are sometimes scheduled and rescheduled due to weather and other conflicts, and these online calendars will have the most up to date information available regarding events.

Please note that the AHS sports calendar has categories available. For example, you can customize the calendar to print out only volleyball or wrestling. (As of now, all AHS fall and winter sports events have posted in AHS sports calendar, but spring and summer sports schedules will not be posted until they are finalized.)

It is possible to combine calendars, as well, by selecting them and then choosing to view multiple calendars. On a Windows machine, use the Control key to highlight the calendars you wish to view, and on a Macintosh, use the Apple or Command key.
