Ames High School ranks highest in state on international test

AMES—Ames High School outranked five other high-performing Iowa high schools that partnered with the Governor’s STEM Advisory Council this year to take an international test of science, mathematics and reading skills.

Dell Chromebooks arrive for Ames Middle School Students

AMES—After a three-week delay, Ames Community School District technology staff wasted no time distributing Dell Chromebooks to nearly 900 Ames Middle School students Friday morning. Students streamed through the Media Center to pick up carrying cases and received their assigned laptops in an efficient process that finished by noon.
